Remember yesterday when I mentioned that taking Beth Moore's Bible study was a big turning point for me? Another turning point was discovering this blog written by Annie Downs around the same time.
One thing I know for sure is that in the past couple of years God has been growing and molding me in a way that I haven't ever felt before.
First off, I loved that Annie was a single gal who was honest and transparent in her struggle with that; she is funny and warm and most importantly, real. I had the amazing opportunity to interview her and y'all (I had to say that because I love the south where she lives), she is just like that in person too! I also loved that despite her fears, she moved to Nashville without knowing how it was all going to work out. Watch her video of when she first moved---that is some bravery there! Her posts on fear have caused me to stop and think so many times.
Besides having a great blog, Annie is one talented writer. She's teaching a writing course tonight over at The Influence Network and I will be there, ready to soak up her insight. So excited and grateful for this opportunity!
brooke, ahh i'm so jealous you took that class! i wanted to.. and then i almost bought the audio.. and then i got busy and by the time i remembered.. it was too late :( hope you enjoyed it!!!
